Discover our new PEARLS inspired by the Japanese culinary tradition:
Soy Sauce, Ponzu Sauce and Yuzu Pearls, available in 2 sizes of glass jars.
Did you know?
Yuzu citrus fruit is also grown in Italy, although it is widely used in Asian cuisine!
This very aromatic fruit was born in China over 2000 years ago and has been then exported to Japan where it became more and more popular as an ingredient in the traditional Japanese cuisine. It is rich in Vitamin C just like orange, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit and the YUZU pearls are perfect to dress meat and seafood recipes, besides decorating fresh fruit and desserts, such as cheesecakes, pancakes, cupcakes, ice cream, yoghurt... YUZU pearls are a great idea to add a surprising touch to all sweet or savoury dishes! They can also enrich beverages, smoothies and cocktails!
What is PONZU sauce?
This iconic and inimitable blend, so popular in Japan, has a subtle taste, not easy to define for western tongues...
It is based on soy sauce, enriched with fish (katsuobushi) and citrus (Yuzu) ingredients.
PONZU pearls are recommended as final touch on your grilled meat (poultry, beef, pork), BBQ vegetables and all the seafood: salmon, octopus, prawns, swordfish, cod and so on... The tempura, sushi and noodles will be sublimated by these Ponzu littles spheres... Finally, it is also delicious to dress fresh greens like rocket, cabbage and red radish! Our PONZU pearls have a nice orange-brown colour and tangy, citric taste!
SOYA SAUCE in PEARLS!
Last but not least, we encapsulated the classic Soya sauce in small spheres for more fun!
We all know the versatile use of Soy sauce, and our little bombs of flavour will release their liquid heart and melt your hearts!
The Pearls of Soy sauce pair with all the traditional Asian food, but may also sublime the classic recipes of the mediterranean diet: Pasta, pizza, salads, meat & seafood, omelettes, potatoes, tender cheeses...
Useless to say that all our Oriental Pearls are suitable to enrich rice and noodles recipes! Stay tuned to soon see the photos of our chefs!
