SABA (Cooked Grape Must)
It's a natural sweetener obtained from the slow cooking of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes’ must. Deeply linked to the countryside tradition, it used to be served on cheeses, to make energy drinks, to heal sore throat.
Ideal for: preparation of cocktails and long drinks, tender cheeses, cured meat (pork, turkey, ham...), fruit salad, fresh and cooked fruit, ice-cream, yoghurt, pancakes, cheesecakes, muffins...
Also available in 500ml and 100ml sizes and in flavoured versions.
